We accept Designer & better label women’s clothing, including juniors, petites, jewelry & accessories by appointment. . . Monday through Friday only. Drop offs are accepted with notice and only if you have an account established.

We look for items, size 0-14, that are current, like new, in season, dry cleaned or laundered, pressed and on hangers. Clothing must be no more than 2 years old. We must accept 10 items to start an account.

We are selective—our reputation depends on it. Do not be offended if we do not take your clothing. Our customer’s wishes must determine our guidelines. If an item is found to be dirty or damaged after closer inspection, you will be called to pick up the item immediately or it will be reduced or donated.

Encore does not accept items with odors of any kind. We enforce this rule strictly.

In an effort to save your valuable time and ours, examine your items carefully before you bring them in. Bring only your best items for your first visit. This will save us both the frustration of rejected items that clearly do not meet our criteria.

Your items will remain in the store for 90 days and will be reduced by 50% after 60 days. Items may not be picked up early.

You will receive 50% of the selling price.

All unsold items must be picked up at the end of 90 days or they become the property of Encore. You will not be called.

The Encore staff requires 4 days advance notice if you intend to pick up your expired items. The staff will call you when your pickup is ready. Items may not be picked up on demand.

Checks over $100 are automatically mailed the first of the month. Payouts of smaller amounts can be requested by consignor and will be cut the first of the month and mailed. Call to request your check. There is a $1 check fee for ALL checks.

ENCORE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS, THEFT, FIRE OR IN STORE DAMAGE. ITEMS ARE LEFT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

What Labels do we accept?

The following is a list of labels. Acceptable and Not Acceptable.

This list is by no means all inclusive. We do not accept discount labels or many less expensive labels. If you have a question about if we accept what you have, call and ask.

The main reason that we turn away clothes is that they are dated. We do not want your OLD clothes that you wouldn't wear. We DO NOT want your clothes that you couldn't sell in a garage sale! We want your recent clothes that you want to replace with new clothes.

We do not want you to bring us clothes that you want to donate just to see if we might take something. If you wouldn't wear it, we don't want it. Our time is valuable and so is yours. If you think it should be donated, it should.

We do not want clothes in bags. We do not want clothes that haven't been washed, ironed or dry cleaned. No matter how nice it is, we will not take it if it is dirty. Look over every piece that you bring in. We will look it over from top to bottom. Seriously. If it is missing buttons, has a hem coming out, broken zipper, snags, etc. we do not want it.

REMINDER TO CONSIGNORS

Please take the time to inspect each item before you bring it in. We go through hundreds of pieces of clothing a week and to spend time with garage sale rejects, dated items and dirty clothes takes time that we don't have to waste. We require items to be clean, pressed and on hangers. We will not look through your bags of clothing. Bring your best items for your first appointment. It allows us to get a feel for your clothes and you to see what we are looking for. With the cool weather, get into your closet, dry clean those sweaters and call Encore for an appointment! This is our busiest time of year so we may be booking out a week or two. 952-944-9290
